Working with our partner, the Catoosa County Park and Recreation Department, The Fusion Factory Sports Academy combines different sports and athletic methodologies to provide an environment that fosters excellence, allowing our participants to develop the self discipline, integrity, confidence, character, courage, dedication, teamwork, and strong work ethic needed for future success.

Camp will be for ages 5 (entering K) to 12 years. All participants must provide their own lunch.

By providing a small fee every month, you are helping to make an athlete's dreams come true through academics and athletics. All proceeds go directly to the athlete, as it is our mission to produce future student athletes.

Sports Academy Training Camps: May 30-August 9

Campers will rotate between Speed and Agility Conditioning, into the Sport-Specific (Football, Soccer, Baseball, Wrestling, Dancing) Training. They will also have weekly extracurricular classes in: theater arts, reading, creative writing, and arts & crafts.

Victoria Phillips
Speed & Agility

Victoria’s mission is to motivate adults, adolescents, and their community towards a positive attitude in their approach to life. This is achievable by teaching teamwork, self-esteem through encouragement, the fundamentals of functional movement, as well as assisting in the achievement of successful academic and social goals. Her passion is molding tomorrow's leaders into champions, and today's leaders into exceptional role models. She endeavors to provide a firm foundation in every session that is based on family values and a healthy lifestyle. Damon Smith
Football

Damon Smith was born and raised in Chattanooga. He is a graduate of Brainerd High School and Lane College, a Historic Black College and University in Jackson, TN, where he received his BA in Elementary Education (1-8). Smith was a 2 year starter at quarterback at Brainerd receiving All-City, All-Metro, and the City Passing Title his Senior year. At Lane, he was a 4 year starter at quarterback, but also seeing spot duty at wide receiver. After graduation, Smith played in the National Indoor Football League for the Tupelo Fireants as QB/WR. He made All-Southeastern Division QB. His coaching career spans 16 years with stints from youth to semi-pro. He has experience as quarterback, wide receiver, Defensive Back Coach and Offensive Coordinator. He is dedicated to the sport of football and is willing to go above and beyond to get you better at your craft.

Liana Craig
Soccer

Liana played select soccer in both California and Georgia. She played for the Georgia ODP team, in State Cup, and several other national tournaments. She attended St. Pius X High School in Atlanta, where they were back-to-back State Champions. As a senior, she received the Coach's MVP Award. She is a three-time Tahuichi Way graduate, after which she went on to play college soccer at Berry College in Rome, GA. She then traveled to play semi-professionally in Spain and Switzerland, where she took part in several FIFA vs. UEFA friendly matches, and was able to train with the New Zealand women's team as they prepared for an upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup. As a referee, she has officiated both youth and semi-professional matches in the U.S., gaining recognition as Referee of the Year in San Francisco, CA. She also refereed in Spain, officiating several professional La Liga matches, including the 3rd division championship match.

Ryan Tisdale
Wrestling

Ryan Tisdale has been the East Ridge Wrestling Club (ERWC) Head Coach since 2012. The ERWC was the 1st club started in the greater Chattanooga area over 25 years ago by Charlie Goss, former East Ridge state champion, and has had excellent leadership throughout the years including former head coach Jimmy Fredrick. Ryan has continued to build upon the legacy that Charlie Goss established and is committed to the sport of wrestling. Just in the last 5 years working with the ERWC he has seen a multitude of champions and championships including several repeat state champions, national champions and two 7x-state champion wrestlers.

Heath Parham
Wrestling & Soccer

Heath is a dedicated coach in soccer and wrestling. He holds a National D License through US Soccer and has coached with East Ridge Soccer Association, East Ridge Futbal Club, and currently with the Chattanooga Futbal Club Academy. He has coached early developmental ages from 6-12, and the more tactical ages of 12-16. Heath is also a former state champion in wrestling winning state in AAA at 125 lbs. He is committed to getting every athlete he coaches to be the best they can be. Heath believes talent is the first step, but without hard work, commitment and dedication, talent is not always enough.
