Damon Smith was born and raised in Chattanooga. He is a graduate of Brainerd High School and Lane College, a Historic Black College and University in Jackson, TN, where he received his BA in Elementary Education (1-8).
Smith was a 2 year starter at quarterback at Brainerd receiving All-City, All-Metro, and the City Passing Title his Senior year. At Lane, he was a 4 year starter at quarterback, but also seeing spot duty at wide receiver. After graduation, Smith played in the National Indoor Football League for the Tupelo Fireants as QB/WR. He made All-Southeastern Division QB.
His coaching career spans 16 years with stints from youth to semi-pro. He has experience as quarterback, wide receiver, Defensive Back Coach and Offensive Coordinator. He is dedicated to the sport of football and is willing to go above and beyond to get you better at your craft.
Victoria has been an exercise physiologist since 2016. She has been a nationally certified personal trainer since 2014, and hence forth she has obtained her Dynamax ball certification, Core Training specialty certification, NCCPT certification, BLS certification, and Mini Yogi’s certification. She currently does 1v1 private sessions, group kids fitness class, and runs Our Fusion Sports Camps during school breaks. During the spring/summer season, she is the Strength & Conditioning Coach for semi-pro football team, Dalton Danger. Who won the 2018 USA Bowl National Championship with a flawless 14-0 record. Her mission is to motivate adults, adolescents, and their community towards a positive attitude in their approach to life. This is achievable by teaching team work, self-esteem through encouragement, the fundamentals of functional movement, as well as assisting in the achievement of successful academic and social goals. Her passion is molding tomorrow's leaders into champions, and today's leaders into exceptional role models.
Heath is a dedicated coach in soccer and wrestling. He holds a National D License through US Soccer and has coached with East Ridge Soccer Association, East Ridge Futbal Club, and currently with the Chattanooga Futbal Club Academy. He has coached early developmental ages from 6-12, and the more tactical ages of 12-16. Heath is also a former state champion in wrestling winning state in AAA at 125 lbs. He is committed to getting every athlete he coaches to be the best they can be. Heath believes talent is the first step, but without hard work, commitment and dedication, talent is not always enough.
Ryan Tisdale has been the East Ridge Wrestling Club (ERWC) Head Coach since 2012. The ERWC was the 1st club started in the greater Chattanooga area over 25 years ago by Charlie Goss, former East Ridge state champion, and has had excellent leadership throughout the years including former head coach Jimmy Fredrick. Ryan has continued to build upon the legacy that Charlie Goss established and is committed to the sport of wrestling. Just in the last 5 years working with the ERWC he has seen a multitude of champions and championships including several repeat state champions, national champions and two 7x-state champion wrestlers.
